Good questions

Is this real? Glad you asked.

What makes a result “Yorkshire”?

Votes are grouped by where people are - so the Yorkshire result counts only votes cast by people there. Every topic also has a UK-wide result and a breakdown for all 12 nations and regions.

How are these rankings decided?

By votes - nothing else. Real people pick their answer for each topic, and the results are tallied live. There’s no editorial ranking and no paid placement.

Why does Yorkshire differ from the UK?

Because opinion genuinely varies by place. When the local top pick isn’t the national one, we flag it - that contrast is the whole point of a regional view.

Can brands pay to rank higher?

No. Position is decided by votes alone. Brands can’t buy their way up - that’s the whole point.
